This study investigates the implications of digital transformation on office technology within the context of a globalized world. As digital tools and platforms such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and collaborative software reshape administrative processes, the roles and expectations of Office Technology and Management (OTM) professionals have evolved significantly. The research employed a descriptive survey design, targeting 120 office professionals across public and private sectors in Nigeria, to assess how digital transformation influences job responsibilities, productivity, and emerging challenges. Findings revealed that digital tools significantly enhance efficiency and productivity, while also introducing cybersecurity and data privacy concerns. The study also highlighted critical gaps in digital skills and infrastructure, especially in developing regions, which hinder full integration of digital innovations. It concludes that for OTM professionals to remain relevant in the global digital economy, strategic investment in digital training, curriculum reform, and cybersecurity awareness is essential. The study provides actionable recommendations for educators, employers, and policymakers to bridge the digital divide and enhance workplace readiness in an increasingly virtual and interconnected environment.References
