Abstract

This paper explores the necessity of integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) courses into the Office Technology and Management curriculum in Nigerian polytechnics. It addresses the challenges faced in the evolving business environment and emphasises the skill gaps that exist among graduates. By aligning the curriculum with modern technological advancement courses, this paper aims to enhance educational delivery and prepare students for contemporary business demands. Recommendations were made to include collaborating with industry stakeholders to ensure course relevance, investing in training programs for educators in OTM and leveraging online resources and partnerships for resource sharing.
